It's around 850AD, the Carolingian Empire has just ended and it's your job to impress the newly appointed King and maintain your noble status as a royal architect by designing and constructing a variety of landmarks throughout the kingdom.
You'll be vying for the most points to secure victory through collecting raw materials, hireing apprentices and maybe even sabotaging your opponents. Will you uphold your morals and remain virtuous or will you mingle with thieves and black marketeers to get what you need? Help rebuild the town and advance work on the Archbishops cathedral in your bid for nobility and once the last worker is placed in the Guildhall, the game end will be triggered and your virtue will be judged.
Will your morals be tested in your attempt to sustain your noble status?
