It's 1854 in the states, the end of slavery was yet again in sight and freedom was for so many almost within reach. Dreams were becoming more elaborate as the possibilty of achieving them grew. In Cartaventura: Oklahoma, you are enacting the story of Bass Reeves, a young hopeful, who had grown up working his fingers to the bone in the sugarcane fields. Where will life take you? Will you be able to escape your former master? Will you find the Indians and learn their ways?
 
Cartaventura is a narrative card game where players work together to make decisions and alter the course of the story. It's played by flipping cards, building the map and choosing the direction to take the adventure.
