In Gubs each player is trying to build the largest and strongest colony by the time the three letters that spell at GUB get drawn out of the deck and end the game. In the game there are many danger on the cards for the Gubs like the terrifying Omen Beetles that will devour the Gub in one bite or flash floods that will wipe out all they have built. On the upside they can also arm themselves with weapons like spears and ride the their valiant steads the toads creating Toad Rider to help them conquer adversary.
