The Baratheon philosophy of "heavy arms and heavy armour" extends even to the cavalry. This has resulted in the Champions of the Stage having some of the heaviest armour in Westeros. These knights head into battle in full plate with their horses kitted out in full barding. Even with this heavy armour this unit still remains rather maneuverable allowing them the option of a flank attack or simply plunge directly into the frey.
 
The Champions of the Stag unit box for the A Song of Ice and Fire: Tabletop Miniatures Game offers House Baratheon players a new heavy cavalry option to add to their army. This cavalry unit has strong Defensive Save and Morale making them hard to take down and with multiple wounds it takes a decent amount of time to wittle them down. This unit also pack a punch in combat with its Champion's Wrath ability that grants the unit Critical Blow and can force the enemy to becomed weakened. The Champions of the Stag come in a set of 4 highly detailed, pre-assembled, plastic miniatures, with a stat card and a movement tray, so you  are ready to play them right out of the box.
