Become a viking and raid the lands in search of resources as well as capturing new buildings as you fill longships and complete constructions to rack up points.
 
Looot is a resource management, tile placement game where you will be trying to be the most powerful Jarl in the land. The game is played over 13 rounds with each player taking a turn to complete the following actions; Place a Viking, Capture a Building, Complete Construction Site, Select a Longship, Use a Shield and Claim a Trophy. Every turn a player must place one viking out onto the shared board to claim a resource space, this space cannot have a viking on it already and must be adjacent to another viking of any colour or a longboat, you then add the corresponding resource tile to your board. After placement you will check if you can capture a building by seeing if you have met the viking placement requirement to claim that building and add it to your board, Construction Sites work similarly though require you to have the resources required to build a construction around the construction site tile. Your optional actions are Selecting a Longboat which can help you gain extra resources to complete constructions, claim a trophy which is a one time action that can get you some extra points for how your personal player board is laid out or you can use a shield ability to give yourself one of three extra bonuses in the game though once used you cannot use them again. Once all players have placed all their vikings the game comes to an end, you then total up the points and the player with the most points is the new Jarl and wins the game.
