Unconscious Mind is an engaging euro-style board game that immerses players in the world of early 20th-century psychoanalysis, inspired by the groundbreaking theories of Sigmund Freud. Players assume the role of members of the Wednesday Psychological Society, strategically placing Ideas (workers) on a central Meeting Table to perform various actions, such as enhancing their player boards, drafting cards, and navigating the vibrant city of Vienna.
 
The game features intricate mechanics, including worker placement, engine building, and multiple rondels, allowing for cascading effects that deepen gameplay. Players must manage Insight resources on a multi-level dial to guide their clients through the complexities of Manifest and Latent dreams, ultimately unlocking special abilities and scoring opportunities. The game culminates in a competition for prestige, with the member who accumulates the most points emerging as Freud’s most distinguished contemporary.
